Policy Statement & Prohibited Conduct
Zero-Tolerance Policy
PGUSD strictly enforces a zero-tolerance policy for any acts of violence, threats, harassment, or intimidation within our schools or during school-related activities.
Prohibited Actions
  • Statements or gestures intended to harass or intimidate
  • Acts likely to damage property
  • Actions likely to cause injury or fear of injury
All employees are responsible for maintaining a violence-free workplace and must report any acts or threats of violence.
Reporting Procedures
PGUSD encourages prompt reporting of workplace violence incidents through multiple channels:
  • Written complaint to immediate supervisor/Principal
  • Direct report to Human Resources Department
  • Anonymous reporting through Sandy Hook Promise Tool

Name of the complainant
Date of the complaint
Date(s) of the alleged incident
Name(s) of the accused
Location where incident occurred
Names of any witness(es)
Detailed statement of the circumstances
Reports will be kept confidential to the extent possible. Retaliation against employees making good faith reports is prohibited.
